What is a Giclée Reproduction?
The term Giclee - pronounced “gee-klay” - is used to describe the process of reproducing artwork on fine art paper or canvas. This form of fine art printing uses pigment based, archival quality inks on an advanced inkjet printer. Giclee printers use up to 12 individual colors giving smoother gradient transitions as well as a wider color gamut. This allows for more depth and richness of color to the final print, which helps create a reproduction that mirrors the original paintings.
