Frequently asked questions.
These are the most common questions I am asked, however, if you have additional questions please email me at baileyfineart@myyahoo.com
How do I buy an original?
Originals are well advertised via my social media , website and via my seasonal newsletter. I create as many paintings as possible throughout the year which I put on display at galleries, pop up shows, exhibitions and in my online shop. These paintings can sell quickly, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are interested in one that you see on social media prior to it being added to my shop.
Can I commission a painting?
I am currently accepting a limited number of commissions each year in order to create more available artwork for my collectors and to stay in touch with my outdoor ventures. If you are interested in discussing a potential commission concept and would like more details, I would love to hear from you!
You would like a print?
Please visit my online print shop. The size of the original painting is the largest size I am able to reproduce as a print. The image quality and preciseness of the details are very important to me and contribute to the value of my work. All reproductions are print to order, giclée on canvas. If you would like more specific details or have size inquiries about a print that you do not see in my shop please email me at baileyfineart@myyahoo.com
How is my artwork going to be shipped?
Oil paintings take a substantial amount of time to dry. I will not ship a painting before it is ready to be tightly packaged (2-4 weeks from painting completion).
All artwork is wrapped in paper, padded extremely well, and sent in a well fitted sturdy cardboard box.
Most artwork will be shipped via USPS, or UPS and should arrive 3-5 days (domestic) from time of shipping (includes tracking and insurance).
If artwork is larger than 50 inches, we will use a freight service to expertly handle the painting and deliver it to your door - please contact me directly for pricing information.
Returns?
All sales of original artwork are final. If you choose to return a reproduction, a restocking fee amounting to 20% of the print cost will be applied, as we print to order and try our best not to have prints sitting in stock.
Framing?
I frame all of my original artwork before I put it on display. I choose frames that I feel best suit the subject matter and mood of the painting. All artwork is custom framed through a handful of my favorite frame shops. If you have a specific frame style in mind for a painting, please feel free to reach out.
Who takes my photos?
While photos taken out on my adventures are my own or of one of my fellow adventurers; for photos back in the studio, I look to support the talented people in my life. Photo credit can be given to Hugo Landa Photography, Christina VanLakerveld and Dustin Hughes. A great big thank you goes out to these talented photographers for understanding my quirks, loves and free spirited nature. I am so grateful for your ability to bring my passion for my work to life in your photos.
